Offerings

Sitio provides diapers and formula every month. A baby layette includes diapers, baby shampoo, diaper rash cream, bibs, booties, hats, heavy and light receiving blankets, baby bottles, sippy cups, teethers, and pacifiers. The baby layette is given to the mother one month before the baby is born. The center also provides backpacks, school supplies, baby food, baby toiletries, blankets, baby equipment, baby bottles, and toys, as well as new or gently used car seats and pack-'n-play(s). In addition, gently used furniture, sheets, pillow cases, and household items are provided to our clients at no charge.

At Christmas, our clients' children receive a sack full of toys and at Easter our clients' children receive an Easter Basket full of candy.

Furniture

Gently used furniture is given on a first come first serve basis. Clients sign up for furniture and as donations come in they are contacted. It is with immense pleasure that clients are blessed with gently used furniture delivered directly to their home from the donor's home with no delivery fee. Sitio Ministry's volunteers deliver the furniture at no charge to the client. The gently used furniture is also purchased from Wayside Christian Mission with monstary donations and delivered to the client's home again by Sitio Ministry's volunteers at no charge. Recipients tell us they are over joyed with the furniture they receive. We are also pleased because wo have made our clients smile. Furniture donations may also be dropped off at Sitio Ministry.

Assistance

Everyone is welcome to come and receive aid. Please bring a valid picture ID for the parent/adult and an ID such as health care card, social security card or birth certificate for each child.

WANT TO HELP?

Volunteers are always welcome to sort donations, fill clients' orders, and/or pick up donations. "Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me." Matthew 25:39 Sitio is Latin and means "I thirst" which Our Lord said when he was crucified. By volunteering you are quenching the thirst of Christ on the Cross. He did so much for us that it is wonderful to be able to give back. Hope you will join us. We would love to have you come be a part of the Sitio Team and aid those less fortunate.
